About the role We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Scheduler to join our team in Youngtown to develop and maintain a forward program of works. The schedule covers all resources, client expectations and delivery strategies for on time and on budget completion of the electrical supply industry program of works. Key Responsibilities include Developing and maintaining a forward program of works Identifying improvement and efficiencies, managing changes, conflicts or other scheduling issues with relevant team members Scheduling teams using local area knowledge, ensuring team member continuity, consistency and client's needs are met Managing resources to ensure client expectations and delivery strategies for on time and on budget completion of works Conducting ongoing schedule reviews to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and optimisation of resources Producing progress and status reports of the program of works to internal and external stakeholders Conducting negotiations with client and resource providers in the event of unforeseen changes to the program of work (i.e. fault emergency work, inclement weather conditions etc) Ensuring surveillance of forecast schedule against actual and proactive management of both client and internal variations Preparing the program of work schedule which determines balance of internal and external human, plant and equipment resources Engaging with subcontractors as required to complete works About You You will be an organised and engaging individual with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to think on your feet and adapt to change.
