ACT Scaffolding company looking for experienced scaffolders to join the team. Your new company This company is excelling in the ACT construction market in commercial and residential projects, as well as running a yard full of scaffolding equipment for subcontractors performing jobs for the same company. Running with multiple crews at a time, they cover a vast amount of the ongoing construction happening in Canberra and have no prospects of this slowing down. This company is seeking experienced and ticketed scaffolders to join the team, promising a permanent full-time position. Your new role Within this role you will be joining or leading one of these above-mentioned teams. Here you will be participating in variations of existing scaffolding systems installed on construction sites, erecting new scaffolding or dismantling scaffold systems that have served their purpose. Duties will include: Erecting and dismantling scaffolding systems. Performing variations on existing scaffolding systems. Heavy manual handling of equipment on site. Performing returns and packing away scaffolding stock once returned to the yard (if required to do so). Driving between sites to perform these duties. What you'll need to succeed Ready to get involved with one of Canberra's leading scaffolding companies? Here's what you'll need: Building Induction Card (White Card). Asbestos Awareness Card. Crystalline Silica Exposure Prevention Ticket. Basic Scaffolding Qualification (OR HIGHER). Current C Class (or above) Driving Licence.
