About the Role: We currently have a vacancy for a qualified and experienced Saw Doctor to join our team! This position reports to the Sawshop Supervisor and is responsible for undertaking saw doctoring tasks to support the team in maximising the yield, productivity and efficiency of our production facility.
This position is offered on a full-time permanent basis, working 45 hours per week and includes dayshift and nightshift (1 week of nightshift every 3 weeks).
A qualified Saw Doctor will be paid a base annual salary of $98,698.00 per year plus allowances and opportunities to increase salary as you gain more Wespine experience and skills.
Other responsibilities include: Making, repairing and maintaining high tension saws and cutting tools Stellite tipping Benching and maintaining circular saws Quad saw and knife changes Housekeeping About you: Ideally you will have previous timber mill experience, but training will be provided for the right candidate looking for a long-term career at Wespine. Additional requirements include:
