With a potential audience of more than half a million people and the Gold Coast as your geographic backdrop, presenting the Saturday Breakfast program for ABC Gold Coast could be the job for you.
The Job Under limited direction of the Local Editor, create content for multiple platforms to engage local and national audiences.Prepare and present the Saturday Breakfast program.Create distinctive and compelling content that engages audiences.Contribute regularly to planning and commissioning processes to develop and distribute new content ideas to achieve strong reach and engagement with audiences.Generate strong talk-back radio that connects with the Gold Coast audience.Working with the producer on regular program segments and campaigns.
Position Description: About YouYou'll have: Highly advanced program making and presentation skills with a proven ability to develop and make original and engaging audio and cross-platform content for the target audience.Advanced editorial skills including the ability to source and analyse information and exercise reliable judgement.Demonstrated comprehensive understanding of issues that affect the audience.Demonstrated understanding and passion to source and create authentic content which represents the broad diversity of the Australian community, including stories that reflect a range of cultural and linguistic backgrounds and Indigenous communities where editorially relevant.Audio editing experience.High-level interpersonal and motivational skills and ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.Communication and negotiating skills with an ability to work as part of a team and to work closely with producers and other presenters.
