Department of Primary Industries & Regions SA – Port Lincoln SAThe OpportunityWe have an opportunity for a SASQAP Scientific Officer to be part of our Office of the CE Division within the Department of Primary Industries and Regions.The primary purpose of the role is to provide program support to the South Australian Shellfish Quality Assurance Program (SASQAP) Program Leader, under the values of the South Australian public sector.The role contributes to delivering the agency's priorities including maintaining a phytoplankton and biotoxin monitoring program and assisting in the microbiology laboratory.The role also contributes to delivering a range of laboratory testing and other technical duties that are required under the SASQAP program.About UsSouth Australia is internationally recognised for the quality of its agriculture, food, and wine.
