SAP Technical Architect (Principal/Manager) Karachi, Pakistan | Posted on 13/05/2024
We are looking for an experienced SAP Technical Architect to join our team in Karachi who can grow the team and support client engagements.

About the role: To succeed in this role you will need a passion for designing solutions in SAP and consider yourself an expert in at least one of the following: SAP BTP, SAP ERP, SAP CX. You will be facilitating the design and delivery of quality technical engagements and will be comfortable presenting solutions to senior stakeholders. Lead the SAP team in Pakistan and responsible for mentoring, coaching and providing technical solutions that can be delivered in our digital platforms and provide outside-in thinking to propose alternative solutions where a fit in the existing solution is not optimal. Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of the customer's business processes and associated technical design with respect to those processes. Oversee systems design and architecture through leadership participation in architecture reviews. Assist with solution project estimation, scope definition, resource allocation and formulating project timelines. Participate in solution and design discussions with team members and build consensus around how to deliver the solutions iteratively, and minimise the amount of work required to deliver the intended value. Strong analytical and software management skills are required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into the application and operational requirements. About you: 5+ years experience as a technical lead or solution architecture on medium to large projects, implementing digital customer solutions using SAP technologies. 2+ years of serving in either an engineering management role or a senior engineering team lead role in a development organisation. Experience across the delivery of solutions using cloud technologies. Experience delivering projects in an Agile environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders including executives, managers and subject matter experts. Clear ability to discuss and demonstrate the design, configuration, and testing of SAP functionality. Possess sound understanding and knowledge of one or more of the following technologies: SAP BTP, SAP ERP / S/4HANA, SAP Integration, SAP CX. Experience with modern development and delivery paradigms including continuous integration is desirable. Experience with cloud technologies, and cloud-native development is desirable.
