About the Role Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for driving innovation through technology? Join our team as an SAP Manager, where you'll play a pivotal role in optimizing our SAP systems to enhance business processes and improve efficiency. The SAP Manager is accountable for the delivery of services, support, and architecture for SAP and all ERP Landscape systems used across Santos, including Finance, Asset Maintenance, Supply Chain, and People functions. They take responsibility for providing leadership to IS staff, contractors, outsourced services, and software vendors.
Key Responsibilities Establish effective governance and management of the services within their portfolio.Create a clear partnership with service providers for the benefit of Santos.Implement and deliver on cost reduction efficiencies and value creation strategies relevant to ERP Landscape.Own and deliver life-cycle roadmaps for services.Act as the Contract Owner for all ERP Landscape application vendors.Establish a continuous improvement plan for all Services.Ensure that SAP Service Delivery Leads (SDL's) adhere to the SDL Framework, covering: Service Management, Stakeholder Management, Status Reporting, Contract Management, Financial Management, Project Management, Risk Management, and Team Management.Manage ERP Landscape Opex and capex within agreed parameters and provide leadership in financial management to the team.Develop and deliver standards, objectives, and plans in the area of expertise.Manage any contracts that support the service and ensure maximum value for Santos.Act as an escalation point for issues directly or indirectly within the IS Service.About You To be successful in this role you will have the following key skills and experience:
Understanding and managing down service costs and providing transparency to business stakeholders.Ability to direct and ensure smooth delivery of the service via 3rd party vendors.Clear understanding of the technology direction and strategy for the IS Service.Experience supporting and managing industry-standard SAP application systems and related services to the business community.Managing a high-performing team of professionals and individual contributors.Managing senior stakeholders and applying governance effectively.Ideally, you are Degree Qualified or Equivalent Tertiary and/or relevant work/industry experience in related IS/IT technical area. Relevant SAP qualification or appropriate ERP business experience is highly desirable.
