Iconic, Australian Enterprise Solution Design Finance & Procurement About the role Work collaboratively with other SAP Modernisation Program streams to ensure integrated Finance and Procurement solutions align to Program principles, challenging resistance to standard processes through constructive dialogue with Finance and Procurement Business Stream Lead and Industry Partner.
Support the SAP Modernisation Program Finance and Procurement stream, SMEs and functional program team to deliver the agreed program of work.
Consciously work, knowing the wider Enterprise program portfolio, ensuring solutions do not hinder the broader strategic roadmap.
Create and maintain a positive work climate by defining and communicating a compelling vision of the future.
Comply with the program governance ensuring all identified risks, issues, assumptions dependencies and decisions are maintained in the relevant register and are driven to completion/mitigation.
Support the delivery of work stream deliverables to ensure they executed on schedule and within budget.
Influencing internal stakeholders and vendors, including the development of an effective network, both internal and external, to appropriately identify and build support for opportunities.
Preparedness of Finance and Procurement team and fundamentally the preparedness and adoption of new ways of working for all employees will be measure of success of the program and the project.
Experience Strong background in the IT industry and extensive experience relevant stream systems with an understanding of strengths and weaknesses of SAP relative to competing marketplace products.
Understands and has recent experience designing within the modern SAP solution suite and methodologies.
Ability to interact with business users and conceptualise the requirements into SAP Product Suite.
SAP upgrade and architecture experience including previous solution architecture role.
Demonstrated experience in running business clarification sessions to obtain and document detailed key business requirements.
Experience in large company wide system transformation programs essential.
Demonstrated leading the design deliverables to consolidate a multitude of retained and to-be retired operational ERP systems to provide consistent information in the central ERP System (SAP).
Demonstrated skills in designing simplified processes in a pragmatic manner, in line with best practice processes.
Experience in obtaining formal endorsement from stakeholders of the design documents.
Strong knowledge of both the functional and technical components of SAP ECC and other cloud-based applications.
