Sap Fico Consultant

We are looking for a highly skilled SAP FICO Consultant for one of the leading Global IT companies in Australia. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP Finance and Controlling modules, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of financial and business processes. This role will involve implementing, configuring, and optimizing SAP FICO solutions to meet organizational needs.
Key Responsibilities: Solution Design and Implementation:
Analyze and understand business requirements related to finance and controlling processes.
Configure and implement SAP FICO modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Controlling (CO).
Ensure seamless integration of SAP FICO with other SAP modules and external systems.Business Process Optimization:
Identify and recommend improvements to financial and controlling processes to enhance efficiency and compliance.
Provide expertise in cost center accounting, internal orders, and profitability analysis.System Testing and Support:
Conduct system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Provide post-go-live support and resolve any functional or technical issues.Requirement Gathering and Documentation:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
Develop detailed functional specifications and process documentation.Training and Knowledge Transfer:
Conduct training sessions for end-users and key stakeholders.
Assist in knowledge transfer to in-house teams for ongoing system support and enhancements.Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.Experience as an SAP FICO Consultant.In-depth knowledge of SAP FICO modules, including configuration and customization.Strong understanding of financial and controlling processes, including financial reporting, budgeting, and cost analysis.Proven experience in requirement gathering, system configuration, and testing.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Preferred Skills: SAP certification in FICO.Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance.Knowledge of integration with third-party systems and tools.Familiarity with local and international compliance standards.Experience in Agile project delivery methodologies.What We Offer: A collaborative and innovative work environment.Opportunities for professional growth and development.Competitive salary and benefits package.Exposure to global projects and diverse industries. #J-18808-Ljbffr
