About the Role
Located at our D&C yard in Roma, Queensland, this position operates on a 6am-6pm, two-week on, two-week off roster. As part of a rotating team, you will support supply planning, procurement, transport, processing, and recording of all materials and equipment movements for the drilling and completions business unit. This role is ideal for a local resident of Roma or the surrounding region who can accommodate a drive-in, drive-out arrangement. However, we are also open to FIFO (Fly-In, Fly-Out) candidates.
Key accountabilities include: Collaborate with drilling and completions engineering and operational teams to deliver material and logistics activities to drilling or completion rigs and wellsite operations. Monitor equipment inventory against supply levels and highlight any stock shortfalls. Ensure all delivered equipment and materials meet recommended engineering specifications, include complete QAQC packages, and that contractors apply appropriate quality management systems. Ensure all material and logistics activities comply with Santos' quality, health, and environmental systems, policies, guidelines, and processes, while continually seeking to improve and apply best practices. Prepare documentation reflecting the materials and logistics requirements needed to support business objectives, DCMP standards, and approval requirements. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to materials and logistics. Perform other duties as directed or required by internal customers and/or senior management. About You
You bring experience in materials, logistics, and operational support activities, ideally within a field service industry such as utilities, construction, or mining. You excel at problem-solving with multiple internal and external stakeholders to achieve materials and logistics outcomes. Additionally, you possess basic computer skills and a loader license/competence. Experience in the oil and gas industry is highly desirable. You hold a license to perform high-risk works, including operating a forklift, and are adept at managing time and materials to high-quality standards. Possessing Chain of Responsibility Level 1 (TLIF0001) certification, a valid driver's license, and 4WD training (PMASUP236 or RIIVEH201D) would be a distinct advantage.
