About the Role Based at our global headquarters in Adelaide, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager in Digital and AI Solutions to lead the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge AI and digital solutions that drive innovation, operational efficiency, and business growth. As part of a forward-thinking team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering AI-driven initiatives across the organization, ensuring alignment with business goals and maximizing measurable value.
This position involves guiding a diverse portfolio of AI, Machine Learning, and digital transformation projects, guiding cross-functional teams from conceptualization through to successful deployment. You will be instrumental in architecting scalable, ethical, and impactful AI solutions, collaborating with various business units, and staying ahead of emerging trends in the digital and AI space.
Key accountabilities include :
Lead the design and implementation of AI, Machine Learning, and digital solutions that meet business objectives and deliver exceptional user experiences. Oversee the full lifecycle of AI and digital projects, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to scope, and high-quality outputs. Lead a diverse team of developers, analytics engineers, and data scientists, providing mentorship, guidance, and technical leadership throughout project lifecycles. Work closely with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI-driven solutions and guide the deployment and integration of digital technologies. Ensure scalability and reliability of digital solutions by leveraging cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern architectures, in collaboration with digital and data platform teams. Ensure responsible AI development by adhering to ethical guidelines and industry best practices. Promote scalability and compliance with relevant regulations. Measure the ROI of deployed AI solutions and monitor performance metrics to refine future initiatives and drive ongoing innovation. Manage relationships with external partners, vendors, and consultants, ensuring optimal resource allocation and expertise deployment. Adhere to all company policies, governance frameworks, and safety protocols.
About You Proven ability to lead AI and digital projects from concept to delivery, managing cross-functional teams and end-to-end project lifecycles. Hands-on experience with cloud-based AI platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and deploying scalable AI solutions in cloud environments. Expertise in digital technologies, including web/mobile development, MS Power Platform, machine learning platforms, and customer experience (CX) design. Solid background working with AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras) and proficiency in programming languages like Python or R. Strong understanding of agile methodologies (Azure DevOps, Jira) and project management. Proven track record of vendor management, contract negotiation, and managing third-party resources effectively. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical audience.
Ideally, you will be degree qualified in Information Technology, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, and or a related field. Professional certifications in AI, machine learning, or software development are highly advantageous.
