Based at our manufacturing site at Botany, the Sanitation and Quality Assurance Coordinator plays an important role maintaining the sanitation standards of our iconic manufacturing plant.
You will work closely with our Operations and Contracted Cleaning teams to ensure the required standards are upheld.
You will be a part of a team that prides itself on a strong history of production of our well-loved breakfast cereals here in Australia!
This role will work as part of a roster on day shift, occassional weekend work will be required.
A Taste Of What You'll Be Doing:- Accountable for ensuring our manufacturing facility meets the required sanitation standards through cleaning validations, development and compliance with sanitation checklists, review & management of chemical use Review of the facility master sanitation schedule and assigned staffing for both our packing and processing lines to ensure adherence to standards Pest reviews Provide support to the operations team by ensuring all elements of the quality assurance daily KPI's are adhered to on a shift-by-shift basis Continue to embed our lean manufacturing practices across all Supply Chain functions Your Recipe For Success: - Degree qualified in Food Science/Technology or related discipline Previous experience in either a quality assurance, food safety or production roles is ideal gained from a food manufacturing environment A sound understanding of sanitation and housekeeping standards High level attention to detail Excellent written & verbal communication skills – at all levels Influencing skills – you will be working with a range of people and need to ensure they are onboard with the importance of the requirements you are upholding More about Kellanova & Employee Benefits: Mars has agreed to acquire Kellanova in a combination that will shape the future of snacking!
