The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Canteen Assistant to join our team on a fixed-term contract, covering 6 months of maternity leave.
This role involves serving vegetarian meals, working 23 hours a week over 4 days, with the flexibility to extend to 5 days if needed.
The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, thrive in a busy, dynamic environment, and have basic kitchen experience.
Flexibility to work both day and afternoon shifts is required.

The Person
We are seeking applicants who display a proactive and collaborative work style.

The successful candidate will also have the following experience and competencies:
Reliable with high attention to detail.
Achieves set tasks on time and to a high standard.
Ability to work as part of a team or autonomously.
Follows instructions and procedures to ensure workplace safety.
On-the-job training will be provided, but kitchen and customer service experience is advantageous.
