Join Our Team as a part time Kitchen Hand / Sandwich Guru! We are a passionate group of coffee lovers operating a small, fun coffee shop that is known for exceptional customer experiences. Are you passionate about crafting delicious sandwiches and lead the food direction of one of Perth's coolest coffee shops? Our bustling café is seeking a dedicated team member to join us in delivering exceptional casual but delicious culinary experiences to our valued customers. The role is 3-4 days per week during the morning hours of typically between 5:30am-12:30/1pm, suitable for someone who is looking for flexibility with afternoon working hours.

Sandwich Preparation:
Prepare a variety of sandwiches, wraps, and high quality bread items with precision and attention to detail, ensuring consistent quality and presentation. Operational Skills:
Demonstrating a simple yet efficient workflow, adherence to food safety standards, and maintaining cleanliness and organization and a high attention to detail. Menu Development:
Collaborate with the Kitchen Lead and cafe management to innovate and enhance our sandwich menu offerings, keeping up with current food trends and customer preferences. Team Training:
Assist in training and mentoring casual kitchen staff on sandwich preparation techniques, food safety protocols, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness. Order Management:
Help manage inventory levels for sandwich ingredients, place orders with suppliers as needed, and minimize food waste through effective inventory control. Requirements:
Note: Qualified Cook / Chef not required. Previous experience in a kitchen environment is ideal, with a focus on sandwich preparation preferred. Self motivated with the ability to guide and work alongside a small team. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Flexibility to work mornings and weekends.
