We have an opportunity for you to join Samsung Australia to make a difference as our Business Development Manager (Commercial - Built-in-Cooking) in the Consumer Electronics - Home Appliances team.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth and developing new business opportunities within the Commercial - Built In Cooking space.
You will work closely with Retailers' Commercial Divisions, Developers, Builders & A&D to establish and maintain business relationships, increase sales revenue, and expand the company's customer base.
To be successful in this role, you should have a deep understanding of the industry, market trends, and customer needs to develop effective sales strategies and achieve sales targets.
Role and Responsibilities Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to drive business growth in Commercial Built In Cooking.Establish and maintain strong relationships with Retailers' Commercial Divisions, Developers, Builders & A&D, to increase sales revenue and expand the company's customer base.Attend industry events and exhibitions to network with potential customers and develop business opportunities.Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to support the achievement of sales targets.Conduct market research to keep up-to-date with industry trends and customer needs, and make recommendations for new product development or changes in sales strategies.Analyze customer data to identify areas for improvement and develop sales plans to address any weaknesses or gaps.Prepare sales reports, budgets, and forecasts, and monitor sales performance against targets.Negotiate and close sales deals with customers, and ensure that all necessary documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.Implement regular call plans to maintain and expand new customer base.Adhere to company policies and procedures in the completion of required duties.Customer Relationship Management Maintain regular contact with key customers to ensure customer satisfaction, identify new business opportunities, and address any concerns or issues.Work with the customer service team to ensure that all customer orders are processed efficiently and accurately, and that customer enquiries are responded to promptly and professionally.Provide technical assistance and support to customers, and collaborate with the technical team to ensure that all customer queries are addressed in a timely and effective manner.Ensure that customers are informed of new products, promotions, and marketing initiatives, and provide training where necessary.Skills and Qualifications 5+ years of business development and sales experience within the commercial building industry and/or consumer electronics.Prior experience with forming/maintaining relationships with Retailers' Commercial Divisions, Developers, Builders or A&D, is ideal.Ability to develop sales plans and strategy.Proven ability to negotiate and close complex deals.Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.Strong collaboration, communication and presentation skills.Proactive and possesses the 'hunter' mentality.What sets us apart from the rest? The nature of this role and level of responsibility may require reasonable additional hours over and above 37.5 hours per week and may also require work outside of ordinary hours.
