Who you are? We are seeking applicants for the position of Sample Preparation Assistant, who are excited by the challenges of our business and the variety this role offers.
You will be based at Kalgoorlie, WA and will be responsible for preparing mining samples for testing using specialised equipment.
You will be fully trained in the Sample Preparation process of predominantly Ore Samples.
Some of your tasks will be: Sorting, weighing, crushing and millingRobotics operationWhat will you bring to the role? Reliable and keen to workPhysically fit, prepared to carry out manual tasks and able to lift up to 15 kilo sample bags of Rocks, Sand or CoreHave the ability to follow set procedures and good attention to detailBe willing to work as part of a team with a high focus on quality & safetyRotational Shift Roster: 10 hour rotating day and night shiftDay shift 5.30am-4.00pmNight shift 4.30pm – 3.00amPlease note that as part of the recruitment experience you must be able to pass a comprehension, numerical and literacy test as well as a full Medical, Drug and Alcohol test.
