Job Description We are looking for a Sample Administrator to join our Oil and Gas team on a full-time basis at the Perth Airport laboratory.
This role involves providing on-site analytical testing, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our contracted laboratory, and performing a variety of analytical tests with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities includes but are not limited too: Ensuring all the samples are registered by the end of day and that all the samples received are placed in cue for analysis.
Sample enrolment in LIMS1 and SOPHIA, working towards "superuser" for these systems.
Meet customer expectations with regard to turn around time and quality of analytical results.
Ensure sample traceability internally and externally.
Assist with the supply of sampling kits/equipment to customer sites.
Assist with customer queries and confirm analysis required with clients where required.
Apply technical knowledge to the appropriate registration parameters within the laboratory database.
Maintain consumable stock levels.
Provide general support to the Coordinator Laboratory Operations & client services position. Qualifications Relevant Technical School qualifications or tertiary studies.
Demonstrated experience in handling Petrochemical, Gas or Chemical Products.
Proficient computer software literacy.
Knowledge in Quality Systems.
