Manage a portfolio of key Agribusiness clients and referral partners across the agricultural supply chain. Provide valuable advice and solutions to diverse customers within the agribusiness sector. Leverage your market presence and industry knowledge to deliver meaningful results for clients. Collaborate with experienced professionals and work closely with a dedicated Agribusiness Manager to create real outcomes for customers. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage a portfolio of corporate Agribusiness banking clients and referral partners. Identify new opportunities and grow relationships with farming and post-farm gate businesses. Assess economic value and risk potential of new business, ensuring portfolio profitability. Implement initiatives to drive customer growth within the local market. Assess annual cash flows and financial statements to formulate complex strategies. Sanction lending decisions within your delegated authority, and submit for approval on larger proposals. Maintain a strong credit risk profile for the portfolio and provide expert financial guidance. What you bring to the table:
A degree (or post-graduate qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, MBA, CIB) and experience in agribusiness banking or financial services. A deep understanding of the Australian agriculture sector, including post-farm gate operations and lending. A proven track record in relationship management, credit assessment, and customer growth.
