Salesforce System Administrator, 6 months fixed term contract at Victorian Management Insurance Authority (VMIA). • Hybrid working • Melbourne CBD close to Flinders Street station • Fixed term - 6 months contract Your role Reporting to the Head of Service Delivery in DBI (Domestic Building Insurance) division, you will be responsible for the administration and governance of Salesforce.
You will work as part of a team dedicated to ensuring that we are maximising efficiencies and capitalising on the full features and benefits of the system to deliver world leading services and improved outcomes for builders and consumers.
This is an exciting six-month fixed term opportunity to work with VMIA within the DBI division to ensure a reliable and sustainable Salesforce platform is maintained.
What you do • Administer and configure Salesforce to support business requirements and perform daily administration tasks, including user setup, profiles, roles, sharing rules, and permissions.
• Manage sandboxes, including creation, refresh, and access management and conduct regular system audits and monitor platform performance.
• Manage Salesforce releases and ensure proper implementation and identify, propose, and implement Salesforce process improvements to maximise functionality and automation.
• Conduct thorough testing of new features, updates, and third-party applications to ensure seamless integration and user experience.
• Create and maintain reports and dashboards to provide insights into key business metrics and drive data-driven decision-making.
• Manage integrations with business-critical applications (e.g., Jitterbit, DocGen) and stay updated on changes to other integrations.
• Develop, implement, and maintain custom solutions using Salesforce tools such as Flow, Process Builder, and Lightning App Builder.
• Provide training and support to end-users to ensure efficient use of the platform.
Who you work with • Work closely with the DBI team and collaboratively across all VMIA divisions to ensure robust service delivery is maintained.
• Be the first contact for end users of Salesforce seeking help or assistance.
About you To be successful in this role, you will have the following:
• Proven experience administering Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud environments.
• Experience with CRM Analytics is a plus.
• Working with version control tools such as Copado and Git.
• Experience working with data management and integration tools: Data Loader, Workbench, Salesforce Inspector.
• Familiarity with collaboration/project management tools: Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Teams.
• Experience working with Salesforce Lightning tools, including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
• Strong ability to interpret the needs of and communicate effectively with staff and stakeholders.
• Excellent technical and communication skills to enable you to interface directly with stakeholders to understand their needs to administer and enhance the system accordingly.
Qualifications You will have completed the Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM201) and Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator (ADM211).
It will be advantageous if you completed Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder.
