We're seeking an ambitious, results-driven Account Executive to join Salesforce's Tableau team, driving data-driven transformation within Australia's public sector. As part of this dynamic team, you'll leverage Tableau's industry-leading analytics platform to empower public sector organisations with actionable insights and enhanced decision-making capabilities.
Your Impact:
As a Tableau Account Executive, you will own the sales cycle for your territory, engaging with stakeholders to understand their challenges and presenting Tableau as the solution for their data needs. You'll build trust, craft strategic account plans, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to exceed revenue targets and make a measurable impact on public services.
Key Responsibilities: Sales Leadership: Manage the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting and lead qualification to negotiation and closing. Customer Engagement: Build and maintain long-term relationships with government agencies, understanding their unique challenges and positioning Tableau as the go-to analytics platform. Strategic Planning: Develop and execute robust territory and account plans tailored to the public sector, aligning with Tableau's broader go-to-market strategy. Solution Selling: Articulate the value of Tableau's platform, demonstrating its ability to solve data challenges and deliver tangible ROI. Collaboration: Work closely with Business Development Representatives, Solution Engineers, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure seamless execution and exceptional customer experiences. CRM Management: Document sales activities, account strategies, and forecasting in Salesforce to drive informed decision-making. What We're Looking For: Proven success in consultative, solution-based sales, with a track record of exceeding quotas. Experience selling to or working with public sector organisations in Australia is highly desirable. Exceptional communication, planning, and relationship-building skills. The ability to navigate complex sales cycles and influence stakeholders at all levels. A deep understanding of analytics, data visualisation, and how they empower organisations to make smarter decisions.
