A typical day may look like: Reporting to the Branch Manager you will focus on developing strong customer relationships. Our customer base is broad and can include local farmers, primary producers and trade customers and the focus of your role is to provide a memorable experience for all customers either in store or over the telephone whilst:
Performing general administrative tasks including stock control, ordering, receipting, and dispatching of goods.Assisting customers with pricing and product queries.Processing counter sales.Maintaining safety processes.Assisting with merchandise campaign material.Maintaining a welcoming, friendly, and well-presented store environment.Loading and unloading trucks, dispatching, and unpacking orders and deliveries.About You: To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in a team support role in a busy environment. You'll have a passion for Australian farming and agriculture, ideally with knowledge of animal health and rural merchandise. In addition, you will demonstrate:
You will be self-motivated and proactive, with a positive approach to customer service.You will have effective time management and verbal communications skills.You will have a history of success in executing sales outcomes using your specialist knowledge of fertiliser, seed and chemical products and application applicable to those crops grown locally.You will be keen to learn all aspects of retail operations and sales.A current drivers license and forklift ticket is advantageous but not required.If you want a career that makes a difference, then come work with us at Nutrien where your purpose for coming to work every day is real and impactful - Going Further for Australian farmers.
