In this multifaceted role, you will perform a range of accounting, sales administration, and general office duties.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.About the role:AccountingAssist the Accounts/Administration Manager with accounting tasks such as recording expenses, bank reconciliation, and preparing monthly General Journal entries for closing, allocation, and corrections.Manage accounts receivable, including investigating, following up on, and processing outstanding claims, credit notes, and overdue invoices.Prepare and process weekly payments.Verify all freight invoices against sales and internal transfers.Handle end-of-month adjustments, including accruals, prepayments, and customer deposits.Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices.Obtain necessary supporting documents and approvals.Serve as the first point of contact for client invoice queries and work towards resolutions.Answer calls and emails to resolve issues or provide customer service.Process sales orders efficiently.Ensure purchase orders/invoices are matched correctly by number and vendor.Resolve order and inventory problems by investigating data and history.Generate and prepare meeting reports and sales reports.Check and issue service invoices.Maintain supplies by checking stock levels, anticipating requirements, placing and expediting orders, verifying receipts, stocking items, and delivering supplies to workstations.Perform administrative and office support activities as directed by management.Assist the Administration Manager in providing advice and information on company policies and procedures.Provide IT support as needed.Skills and Experience:We are looking for a candidate who demonstrates the following:Previous experience in similar roles in Australia.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.HOW TO APPLYYou must have the right to live and work in Australia to apply for this role.
