A diverse role where you'll support with office administration, and offer invaluable product knowledge to our local farming community Based across our Mareeba & Tolga branches We are currently offering an exciting opportunity for full-time permanent Sales Support & Administration to join our Mareeba branch to help drive instore sales of our agricultural merchandise products.
You will support both our Mareeba & Tolga branches in QLD.
About the Opportunities: Reporting to the Merchandise Manager for our Tolga branch you will focus on developing strong customer relationships.
Our customer base is broad and can include local farmers, primary producers and trade customers and the focus of your role is to provide a memorable experience for all customers either in store or over the telephone whilst: Performing branch administrative tasks including accounts payable, expenses, banking, stock control, ordering, receipting Maintaining our finance accounts and identifying opportunities Assist customers with animal health advice and on farm services Assist customers with pricing and product queries Processing counter sales and assisting our broader sales team Maintaining safety processes within the branch What we'll love about you: To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in a team support role in a busy environment and have a passion for Australian farming and agriculture.
In addition, you will demonstrate: A proactive approach to work and practical organisation skills Excellent attention to detail Effective verbal communications skills to build solid long-term customer relationships Problem solving skills and empathy to resolve customer issues promptly Ability to identify ways to improve internal processes Current drivers license Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook & the ability to learn new systems quickly Why work for us?
