ABOUT THE ROLE: Based in our Sydney (Marrickville) Office, the MANIAX Sales Specialist is the champion of the customer, doing everything in their power to ensure that every MANIAX Guest across Australia has an axe-cellent end-to-end experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: SALES AND CUSTOMER SERVICE Convert incoming enquiries to bookings via all channels including phone, email, live chat, facebook and online enquiry forms.Ensure customers have the best possible MANIAX experience by recommending additional MANIAX products and services.Handle customer enquiries pre and post MANIAX experience, ensuring prompt resolution and sound outcomes.Work with MANIAX Venue managers and guests to accommodate custom and unique requests.Update and maintain customer records across MANIAX CRM and other systems.Customer e-commerce correspondence and web order fulfillment.Maintain knowledge of MANIAX products and services.Participate in cross-functional projects and discussions to improve the overall MANIAX Offering.Capture feedback and own complex customer enquiries & complaints, providing resolution where possible & escalate where appropriate.Contact existing and prospective MANIAX customers via all channels to convert, obtain & retain bookings and revenue.ESSENTIAL SKILLS: Previous sales and/or customer service experience in high volume contact centre environment with a record of hitting and exceeding targets.Excellent attention to detail and data entry skills.Strong customer focus and a sense of urgency to achieve results.Understanding of puns, Vikings, axes and craft beer.Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced sales environment.Fast learner and ability to use initiative and self-learning to get the job done.Ability to multitask and work to a tight schedule.DESIRED SKILLS: Prior experience using Salesforce CRM.Prior experience using live chat software.PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES/QUALITIES: Live by MANIAX Values.Availability to work Saturdays and Sundays.A good team player who meets and exceeds team goals.Charismatic, self-motivated, confident, energetic and creative.An eye for detail and the ability to maintain a very high level of accuracy.Ability and willingness to be a positive, contributing and adaptable member of the team at all times.High level of resilience to manage challenging and varied work environments.Ability to work collaboratively as a team to achieve both team and organisational objectives.This is a full-time, salaried position. While this position will be based in Sydney, Sales Specialists serve all MANIAX venues across the country. MANIAX venues trade 7 days a week, and the ability to work across a 7-day, rotating roster is needed.
