As a Bulk Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for retention and growth of sales in an existing portfolio whilst securing new business and building profitability through effective price, product substitution and contract management.
What you will enjoy doing Provide prompt resolution of customer issues and prevent poor customer experience through adherence to the onboarding process for new customers, maintaining correct data on existing customers and contracts.Maintain a strong customer relationship and manage issues to provide the best customer experience.Manage overall accountability, service, delivery, and financial performance for each contract in the nominated market sector.Build relationships with key decision makers/stakeholders at multiple levels and maintain all customer, opportunity, and gas competitor information.Review customer strategies in line with changing needs to determine current and future opportunities for BOC.Identify and quantify growth objectives for target customers and create a strategy to capture this business against target milestones.Prospect for new customers while growing and maintaining the existing customer portfolio and negotiate contract details with the help of commercial resources.What makes you great Tertiary qualified in engineering, science or related discipline with a minimum of 2 years experience in sales, business development or related roles. Experience in industrial gases preferred but not necessary.Strong influencing and strategic skills, along with analytical and quantitative skills.Advanced written and verbal communication skills, good business and commercial acumen.Accountability for own safety and compliance with BOC Safety Standards and Regulations.Ability to work with a wide range of people at all decision-making levels with a disciplined and consultative attitude towards B2B sales.Good understanding of price management (gross margin, mark-up, pricing and profit) and experience with Microsoft Office Suite is a plus.Why you will love working with us At Linde, we identify ourselves with our products – either working for the technical or medical gases business.
