Additional information is available at https://www.perkinelmer.com/category/food-quality-analyzersPurposeResponsible for driving PERTEN product sales revenue and margin growth in the Oceania region.Responsibilities• Grow sales revenue by achieving sales targets and margin, ensuring year-to-year growth.• Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts; building rapport; providing technical information and explanations; preparing quotations.• Solve customer problems on application issues through training, information, and recommendations of solutions based on knowledge of competitive offerings, as well as pre-sales, post-sales, demos, and executing against marketing initiatives.• Conduct sales activities to meet sales goals and develop new prospects while penetrating competitive accounts.• Set up, maintain, monitor, and cultivate accurate customer files and sales opportunities in Salesforce.com.• Prepare and deliver presentations and seminars that address customers' business needs and applications by positioning our products as solutions.• Continuously update information to the marketing team to create business development programs.• Work closely with the service team and customers to promote the sales of preventative maintenance and consumables while offering a high level of customer support.• Provide local support for planned customer events throughout the year and give feedback to management on industry trends and customer growth opportunities.• Submit accurate and timely monthly sales forecasts and develop business plans through quarterly plans of action.Basic Qualifications• Candidate must possess a degree in chemistry or food technology.• A degree in Business is desirable.• At least 5 years of sales experience in a related industry.• Experience in sales of industrial process instrumentation or laboratory instruments is required.• Good interpersonal and presentation skills.• Must have own transport and be willing to travel domestically.• Independent and able to work as a team member.• Computer literate with knowledge in MS Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
