About the Opportunity: An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced salesperson to manage our Southern Metro territory (with quarterly trips to cover the south west incl. Albany) and make this customer base their own, leading our company's growth in both the Independent Grocery and Petrol & Convenience sector.
Reporting to the Business Develop Manager - the role of the Area Manager is to manage and grow a specific set of key customers ensuring the highest level of service is maintained while building solid relationships with all stakeholders to ensure targeted sales, distribution and agreed objectives are achieved.
About You: The successful applicant will possess the following skills:
You will have excellent communication and people skills. You can develop and maintain strong relationships with customers.You are result orientated and driven; you will add value to your team and are ready to exceed agreed targets.You come from a sales background with a strong knowledge of both the metro IGA and P & C markets.You are a fast learner, detail orientated and accurate.You are well planned and organised. You make quality decisions to influence the desired outcomes.You enjoy being in-store and communicating with store management selling in new lines, improving store ranging and doing relays from time to time to optimise ranging and presentation.You are confident in seeking & opening new accounts across both independent grocery and P and C.Full portfolio training and administrative support will be provided to the successful individual.
