ClientOur client is an is a leading provider of irrigation and water management services with over 30 years' experience within the agricultural, dairy and commercial industries.
They provide a range of irrigation solutions from product selection and design to installation, service and repair.
They are experienced in designing, supplying and installing irrigation systems across Tasmania, from hobby farmers to large scale farms, and provide mobile on-site servicing as well as repairs and upgrades to existing irrigation systems.RoleDue to consistent growth across the business, we are now seeking a Sales Representative provide strong customer service and to drive sales.
This role would represent the customers interest by ensuring the irrigation project is on track and that the customer is satisfied.
This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the leading national irrigation providers.
Equally suited for an experienced irrigation sales specialist or someone with good interpersonal skills who is keen to learn irrigation design and carve out a long-term career in the industry.
The right person for this role could also come from a farming or agricultural background or have worked in rural merchandise sales or agronomy.ResponsibilitiesProactive lead generation & customer contact (site visits as required)Attend to branch customer and sales, service and project enquiriesLiaise with customers, contractors, suppliers and other parties as necessaryAdhere and exceed budget and KPI expectationsRequirementsA successful track record in irrigation sales, new business development or in a similar agricultural fieldProject Management skills and irrigation sales and design experience within the Tasmanian region (preferred but not essential)A passion for driving, delivering and overachieving on new business sales targetsExcellent communication, relationship building and interpersonal skillsA valid drivers licence and sound computer literacyA desire to grow and develop a long-standing career within the businessRemuneration and LocationRemuneration would be commensurate with experience but target salary within the range of $60k to $90k (some flexibility) plus superannuation and vehicle, plus an excellent bonus scheme.
