About the Role We are currently seeking a Sales Representative to drive sales and be responsible for the Mildura region, including coverage of the Riverland to Swan Hill.

Our national Sales team comprises of over 150 people with an average length of service of more than 5 years with a strong focus on developing and promoting internally.
This role will have the successful candidate out on the road actively servicing our existing customer base, building relationships with existing customers, sourcing new business opportunities and achieving sales targets.
Your new position, reporting to the SA State Sales Manager, will involve:
Developing, maintaining and expanding relationships with key customers in the industry to ensure polytec is the product of choice in the residential, commercial, and building industriesWorking autonomously to manage and grow your customer base by developing effective sales and call cycle plansMaintaining project and client databasesReport on specification activities within the regionMerchandising as requiredRegional travel including overnightsLiaising with internal departments to respond to customer enquiries and resolve any customer issuesContinually seeking new business opportunities for the polytec product rangeWhat you'll bring to the Team Have proven experience in sales, account management and business developmentHave demonstrated experience in seeking out and securing new clients and projects and maintaining and expanding a customer/client base through outstanding sales and customer serviceHave strong presentation and negotiation skillsBe proficient in the Microsoft Office SuiteBe a self-starter looking for a challenging and rewarding position
Due to the nature of this role, you will be required to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
In addition you will be proactive, highly committed, resilient and driven.
The salary will be negotiable depending on experience, and will include a fully maintained company vehicle.
