At South Pacific Welding Group (SPW), we pride ourselves on high quality local service and trusted advice for welders.
We are a customer focused solutions provider, specialising in welding equipment, consumables, gas, and welding safety.
We are looking for a high performing sales professional who is passionate about the welding process in all its forms.
The successful candidate will be accountable for driving sales growth across Tasmania and a willingness to travel frequently is essential.
What you will enjoy doing You will maintain a strong personal commitment to safety with a focus on zero harm to people or the environment Driving profitable growth in Tasmania through business development and customer retention You will build and maintain a healthy and active business development opportunity pipeline Working closely with the four-branch network to deliver exceptional service state-wide Collaborating with the BOC sales channel to identify and commercialise new gas and welding cross-sell opportunities Maintaining a high level of welding process technical capability and utilising that to assist customers and SPW employee's knowledge development What makes you great A strong internal drive to win and excellent People & Relationship building skills are required for this role Demonstrated capability of developing sales & growth strategies You have demonstrated functional or technical knowledge of welding products and applications Sound understanding of the welding industry, markets, and competitor landscape Business Acumen, planning and problem solving to deliver business results You have strong leadership and Influencing skills, motivating force for the Branch Managers and their teams Customer focused, leading, and fostering a positive customer experience culture Why you will love working with us Thinking outside of the box, working on new topics and concepts, delivering great solutions to our internal customers is essential to bring success to our business.
