Using a balance of consultative and challenger styles you will build a network of contacts who trust your expertise and believe in our value proposition, thereby establishing, then growing relationships which lead to outstanding business performance.
What you will enjoy doing You will promote SPW's growth ambition and brand across the region. Create long term value for SPW by building on established relationships and converting prospects to customers. You will win new and competitor welding products business within the Greater Darwin region, identify and quickly close out small wins whilst managing longer, higher value and complex sales cycles. Identify new business initiatives & develop sales strategies that deliver an excellent client journey. Understand the competitive landscape, customer aspirations/objectives, and any other marketplace influences to effectively position the SPW value proposition. You will be a brand ambassador by actively promoting the SPW range of products and services, all whilst providing first choice customer experience through your interactions. What makes you great A tenacious and resilient individual capable of leading SPW's growth aspirations. You have demonstrable business development experience with strong negotiation and influencing skills. Able to handle tough conversations, challenge the status quo and recognise opportunities which deliver value. Demonstrated ability to self-manage (work independently), schedule effectively, and maintain and manage customers. Sound welding products knowledge with a deep understanding of how these products are applied. Understanding of price and margin management. Work collaboratively with the Totalweld team to build good working relationships across our customer base. Results driven mindset - ability to take on the personal challenge of driving and delivering business results and outcomes.
