Job Description Sales Results
• Achieving sales targets, these targets may be customer specific and/or brand specific and will be set by National Sales Manager when deemed appropriate
Brand Representation
• Ensure all designated licensed outlets carry the required range of the company's products sufficient to satisfy consumer needs
• Ensure availability of those products at appropriate selling points (i.e. bars, eating areas, bottle shops and restaurants)
• Ensure that the defined products available are in saleable condition and that stock rotation is maintained
• Strive to ensure that the company's products are priced in accordance with our pricing strategy
• Ensure complaints relating to product quality are dealt with efficiently and promptly, ensuring that all internal procedures are adhered to
• Identify and permanent signage opportunities and work with the State Sales Manager to secure approved sites
Brand display & merchandising
• Ensure that the company's products are displayed prominently at all points of sale in each outlet
• Strive to ensure that in areas such as bottle shops those products receive prime display space
Point of sale material
• Ensure POS and signage material, relevant to brand positioning, is placed in prime positions in each outlet
• All material should be used effectively, with consideration given to quantities used
Promotion
• Ensure all opportunities are taken to promote the company's products to the consumer or the retailer without exceeding budgeted funds (unless instructed by the State Sales Manager)
• Ensure effective use of promotional aids, as provided
• Ensure that the goodwill and professional image of the company is promoted at all times
Market intelligence
• Ensure trends occurring in the marketplace are reported. Particular items will include:
o Inroads by competitors (bulk and packaged)
o Increase (or decrease) in consumption in relation to facilities provided (bars, bottle shops etc.)
o Effect of sponsorship activity on the marketplace
o Comments relating to the quality and/or packaging of the company's products
o Provide advice to licensees on trends which could assist licensee in improving outlet's performance
o Clear recommendations as to actions which could assist the company's performance in the marketplace
Reporting
• Ensure written reports outlining activities are submitted on time, as agreed with the SSM above all, reports should be brief, accurate, clear and legible.
Territory management
• Ensure all area call plans are completed to a satisfactory level as detailed by the SSM
• Ensure all customer records are to be kept updated after each outlet call in CRM system
• Adhere to a regular call journey plan
