Operating for over 30 years, we sell direct to trades as well as to retail clients, with key ranges including fasteners, adhesives & abrasives, cabinetry hardware & consumables, compressed air supplies, PPE, tools and workshop supplies. Our head office & trade counter is located in Welshpool, WA, along with a branch office in Victoria, while our customer base extends throughout Australia. Our aim is for Nessco to provide an easy and dependable buying experience, time after time. Due to business growth and an exciting range of initiatives to execute, we require a suitably experienced Sales Representative to join our team based in Welshpool.
The Role:
Reporting to the sales manager you will:
Manage and expand portfolio of clients in the Perth metropolitan areaAchieve Sales KPIs and targets and provide excellent customer serviceAction product enquiries and maximise sales opportunities.Prepare quotes and process sales ordersManage multiple tasks and activities across various customers simultaneouslyBuild strong relationships and rapport with key stakeholders and customersCold call potential clients and maintain contact with current clientsGenerate new business leads by engaging in various sales techniquesConduct on-site meetings and product demonstrationsIntroduce and assist clients how to use the Nessco Procurement WebsiteAbout You: You have a solid understanding of the building industry, modular housing manufacturing, steel framing, roofing and pallet making industriesYou are energetic, tenacious, competitive and have a will to winLikeable and have a solid ability to create long lasting relationships with clienteleDemonstrated experience hitting sales targets and expanding a sales portfolioA strong understanding of mark up vs. margin to ensure continued profitabilityExcellent customer service, interpersonal and negotiation skillsGood time management and organizational skillsSelf motivated and a self starter attitudeGood communication skills and account management skillsThe ability to identify and capture new business opportunities within existing customers.Experience in construction and industrial consumable sales and associated industries is preferred but not essential.Benefits: Free gym with 24/7 accessMentoring from our on-road ManagerFull training in our products and sales processOpportunities for career progression and the ability to make a genuine impactFantastic culture with regular team building eventsSocial clubBonus structureYour application will include the following questions:
