Sales & Partnerships Engagement Specialist Leading National Industry Association Professional, supportive team environment Located at our North Parramatta Office About the Association: The Swimming Pool & Spa Association (SPASA) is the national peak industry body representing the interests of the swimming pool and spa industry across Australia and New Zealand.
SPASA is a membership – based organisation that exists to educate, promote and advocate for the betterment of the pool, spa and outdoor living industries.
The Swimming Pool & Spa Association is in a significant growth phase and operates diverse activities which includes member services, representation, expos and awards, corporate support, and research, education and training.
About the Role: Reporting to the General Manager and working as a part of a collaborative team, the sales & partnerships engagement specialistis responsible for carrying out strategic goals by establishing partnerships, creating and maintaining sales targets, and identifying new revenue streams.
With an exciting opportunity, across multiple brands and membership categories, you will be responsible for driving sales and delivering innovative solutions that educate our key stakeholders, ensure ongoing strong relationships with industry and generate new members for the association.
You will achieve this through providing a primary point of contact for existing members, leveraging the training pathways and supporting membership growth and retention strategies, while delivering a responsive and positive experience for our members.

Professional development opportunities to keep you at the forefront of industry trends. Key Responsibilities: Your key responsibilities will include (not limited to) the following:
Drive sales and provide marketing support to increase course enrolment and organisational growth; Drive the expansion of business opportunities across all training products through strategic development initiatives; Develop, maintain and nurture relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate partnerships growth and sustainability outside the existing membership base. (including leisure, aquatics, and other associations); Foster and maintain strong relationships with existing members to ensure continued collaboration; Develop and cultivate new partnerships to enhance organisational growth; Generate and facilitate inbound enquiries and organic membership sales leads; Commercial acumen in developing and implementing engagement strategies that align with objectives; Understanding and strive to exceed member engagement metrics (regular evaluation of effectiveness via data analysis); Process membership applications & renewals, student enrolments and track member activities via our dedicated digital platforms; Increase stakeholder engagement with promotions and programs; and Any other reasonable roles or tasks required by the business to achieve its objectives. To be successful, you will require: Self-motivated and able to work independently; A growth mindset with outstanding organisational and leadership skills; Experience managing & nurturing existing partnerships Proficiency with computers, especially with CRM and related software Professional communication style, with confident phone and email etiquette; Analytical abilities and problem-solving skills; Ability to actively seek and foster relationships with stakeholders; Possess strong interpersonal skills and a passion for adult learning; Proficient in research and consulting to identify market trends and opportunities; Display a positive attitude, strong initiative, and a commitment to achieving results; Ability to work independently while demonstrating excellent organisational skills; Demonstrated ability to stay abreast of the latest industry developments and competitive positioning to inform organisational strategy; Provide sales and marketing support to drive course enrolment and organisational growth; and Flexibility and willingness to travel to as required (some out of hours travel may be required).
