Sales National Sales Lead – Vendor Partners (Ct&I)

As National Sales Lead for vendor partners within the CT&I sales team, you will be responsible for driving incremental new business to DLL by both relationship management and new business development activity, across a mix of DLL's global and local construction, transport and industrial partnerships within Australia.
This role will additionally include managing a small team of account managers that look after vendor partners within the existing portfolio, and have a strategic goal of growing and scaling out further over the next 5 years.
The role will also be a key liaison point with several internal departments of DLL including Sales Support, Floorplan, Credit, Operations, Client Services, Collections, Legal, Finance and Asset Management.
Day to dayDirect responsibility for key designated accounts, that include an individual sales target.Managing a team responsible for existing partnerships with a goal to increase business volume through proactive relationship management.
This team will also have a combined sales target you will be responsible for achieving.Develop and execute program management strategies to exceed sales budgets in place for these existing partners including new business volume, margin and fee income with pipeline management.New business development – finding and working with new partners and customers across the supply chain and developing/onboarding potential new programs alongside the floorplan team targeting Construction, Transport and Industrial industries.Analyze markets identifying target opportunities and develop strategies to drive market awareness, growth, share of wallet and industry presence.Training and development of internal and partner sales teams to ensure high levels of finance penetration and attraction of a high-quality customer base.Handle first-line escalation for non-standard enquiries, including pricing, changes in Terms & Conditions, priority deal management and settlement exceptions.
Also act as first-line support for partner queries on deal status for designated accounts and other matters.Work with partners to drive efficiencies and process improvement, in particular to streamline the handling of incoming applications, approvals and settlements as required.Identify and resolve problems before they impact on the vendor and/or their customers.Key KPI's will centre around new business volume growth, margin, income, customer satisfaction and compliance.All members enjoy: Two working days per year volunteering for a local charity.Health and Wellness program (healthy food, health checks, health & vitality activities).Flexible hours with possibility to work from home.Click this link for an overview of all the benefits in your region.Your Profile5-7 years experience in a vendor or channel-focused senior sales / business development role, including success in developing new partner programs.Strong understanding of equipment financing in the construction and transport markets, including a high technical competence in equipment finance products and associated processes.Deadline driven, and with excellent time management skills.Self-starter, able to work autonomously as well as leading, motivating and growing a team in a fast-paced environment with an adaptive approach.Positive, can-do attitude is essential with a high attention to detail and a strong compliance focus.High level of interpersonal skills, including an ability to develop close relationships at all levels, and across new referral partners, existing partner contacts, and DLL internal (local and global) stakeholders.Demonstrated experience in identifying customer needs and going above expectations in delivering solutions that exceed expectations.Experience in managing long, complicated sales processes, negotiating program agreements and deal/credit structuring.Excellent financial and business acumen.Good to knowThe selection process may involve an assessment.Applications via email will not be reviewed.
