About the Role:Reporting to the Branch Manager you will focus on developing strong customer relationships. Our customer base is broad and can include local farmers, primary producers, and trade customers. The focus of your role is to provide a memorable experience for all customers either in store or over the telephone whilst:
Performing general administrative tasks including stock control, ordering, receipting, and dispatching of goodsAssisting customers with pricing and product queriesProcessing counter salesMaintaining safety processesAssisting with merchandise campaign materialMaintaining a welcoming, friendly, and well-presented store environmentLoading and unloading trucks, dispatching, and unpacking orders and deliveriesWhat we'd love to see from you:You must demonstrate a passion for customer service as well as a positive approach and the determination to succeedIdeally, you will have exposure to or a strong passion for farming and agriculture with the enthusiasm to learn about new productsPrevious success in a retail sales or customer service roleYou will be a self-motivated person capable of nurturing and sustaining strong customer relationships with the ability to follow through and "get the job done" in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work autonomously as well as part of a team with the ability to take direction wellA current driver's license is essential and a forklift ticket is highly advantageous or you must be willing to obtainMR license is advantageous but not requiredWe're invested in youWe have a strong culture of empowerment where your career is in your own hands - you have the accountability and autonomy to go as far as you're willing.
