Our client, Summit Power, provides powerline hardware to contractors servicing the electrical, mining, agricultural, rail, and construction industries. Summit's internal engineering team is at the forefront of their mission to deliver innovative solutions for transmission and distribution projects. They collaborate closely with powerline designers to ensure the successful execution of projects, leading to improved outcomes and increased efficiency.

This is your opportunity to spearhead Summit's ambitious growth objectives, joining them as their Sales & Marketing Manager.

Who are you? Ideally, you're somebody that has 5+ years' experience as a sales engineer, and you're ready to step up into a management role. In addition, people will generally describe you as:

The role? Operating from the company's headquarters in Albury/Wodonga, you'll be responsible for leading the growth ambitions of Summit, particularly focused on creating and nurturing relationships with the 142 Approved Service Providers (ASPs) in New South Wales. You'll spend the first few months getting the lay of the land, undertaking discovery calls to understand scopes of works, and then presenting and promoting Summit Power's unique solution, and winning orders. From there, your focus will turn to coaching, mentoring, and building your small sales team—with both inside and field reps.

Ultimately you'll become responsible for all aspects of the go-to-market aspect of the business, working alongside two peers in Finance and Operations. Reporting to the managing director, the three of you will be responsible for the effective running of the business.

Why would you? This business is in the growth phase, owned by a family-owned private equity firm. This role represents an opportunity to truly "power up" your sales engineering career by playing a pivotal leadership role. You will be amply rewarded and recognised both in the immediate term and the future. The role has a base of $130K-$150K plus super, and LTI structure. The package is valued at >$180K and is uncapped.

Importantly, you'll be mentored by an experienced Executive Manager with repeated success driving commercial leadership, transformation, and profitable growth in B2B environments.
