Our vision is to create innovative spaces for people to thrive, while our purpose is to be the leader in reimagining sustainable spaces.About the role:Reporting directly to the Queensland General Manager, the Sales Manager will assume a critical leadership role in guiding and mentoring the Queensland sales team in accordance with Fleetwood Building Solutions strategic sales plan. This position is responsible for identifying, developing, and driving new sales opportunities while nurturing and expanding existing client relationships. The Sales Manager will be accountable for delivering on annual revenue and profit targets, with the objective of increasing and diversifying Fleetwood's market share across the modular construction industry.As an integral member of the senior leadership team in Queensland, you will play a vital role in shaping sales strategies and cultivating a culture of inclusivity, ensuring alignment with the company's overarching objectives.The key responsibilities of the role are to:Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies, and programs to capture key target marketsLead, coach, and mentor a diverse sales team to ensure high performance and professional growth.Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product development, and operations teams to align sales efforts with company objectivesChampion diversity and inclusion initiatives within the sales team, fostering an environment of belonging and equal opportunity.Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the sales process, leveraging feedback and data to optimize efficiency and effectivenessEnsure compliance with industry regulations and company policies in all sales activities.Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, partners, and industry associations, to promote Fleetwood's brand and offerings.Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and sales targetsDevelop, manage, and maintain sales team KPIsResolve escalated customer issues and customer complaints regarding sales and serviceProject and forecast revenue targets for assigned sales regions, reporting as requiredResponsible for sales team expenditureEnsure targets are delivered through people management and performance reviewEnsure effective Relationship Management: internal and externalMonitor competition, economic indicators, and industry trendsOversee the development and submission of quality tenders/bidsManage sales data, reporting results as necessaryAbout You:The ideal candidate will be a passionate, dynamic, and strategically minded professional, driven to meet and exceed sales targets. Ideally, you will have experience in the modular or commercial construction sector and have managed small to medium-sized teams, demonstrating a track record of proven sales results.
