About the Role The New Business and Tenders Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing new customer and retention strategies, ensuring comprehensive plans and actions are taken to identify growth opportunities and mitigate risks.
This role is crucial in driving new sales growth, increasing market capability awareness through building strong relationships through understanding their needs.
Additionally, the manager will be responsible for fostering sales excellence, achieving performance targets, and effectively managing the sales team to optimize the sales funnel and deliver outstanding results.
What you'll be doing Customer growth strategy: Develop, initiate, and integrate customer growth strategies within the business by working collobratively Build strong connections with the potential clients to understand their needs, and timeline to go to market, .
Sales and budget management delivery: Deliver new business sales, managing expenses, annual budgeting, and reporting on performance measures.
Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to compile and build tender submissions.
Risk management: Identify risks such as non-compliance with contracts and negotiate mitigation.
Business development and lead generation: Working with the New Business Development Managers, identify new market opportunities, generate a pipeline of qualified leads, consult within the market, and develop bid/tender excellence.
Oversee and manage project timelines , governance processes, commercial outcomes and and sign off escalation.

What we're looking for You will be highly commercial and possess strong communication skills to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Along with your business acumen, you will have: Minimum 5 years in similar role Great understanding of Tender process in Private & Government sectors Extensive and successful experience in sales management or major accounts management Business to Business or Business to Government selling and servicing.
