IMG is a subsidiary of Endeavor, a global sports and entertainment company.Position Title: Sales Manager, MediaReports to: SVP, Head of Commercial, APACDivision: IMGDepartment: MediaRegion: AustraliaLocation: SydneyThe Role and What You'll Do:Responsible for all IMG Media rights negotiations and programming sales in New Zealand and Pacific Islands.Support with Australian sales.Responsible for maximising revenue through sales of IMG Media properties.Responsible for identifying and pursuing strategic opportunities to grow IMG Media's business in the following areas:Cultivating partnerships and other commercial relationships with rights holders and federations in Australasia.Developing initiatives in new segments, including but not limited to Sports, Entertainment and Events, Production.Analysing new rights opportunities by forging close relationships with emerging and existing media companies in the region.Establishing relationships with media agencies to develop brand/agency funded content initiatives.Assisting other IMG business units in the region as required.Attendance at key industry gatherings may be required.You may also be required to carry out any other duties which are within the scope and purpose of the job.You Have These:Previous experience advising clients on strategy, valuation, negotiation, and distribution of media rights domestically and/or internationally across all media platforms and new technology including traditional television, digital media, mobile, and OTT.Knowledge and passion for sport.2+ years' experience working for a global media rights agency.Experience of working with a tier-1 federation or rights holder.Experience of working internationally (outside of Australia) with UK experience highly regarded.Ability to negotiate and generate sales & achieve or exceed targets.Identify trends, business opportunities, create and secure new business.Assist in the growth and development within the region.Assist with providing accurate projections, invoicing, reporting, follow-up and documentation, collection of receivables.Contract management and administration.Skills and Abilities:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
