As the Sales Manager, you will develop and execute strategic sales plans, target prospective customers, and build strong relationships to drive customer acquisition and retention. Your in-depth knowledge of the LM2500 and LM6000 Aeroderivative market will enable you to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
Responsibilities: Secure business for MTU Maintenance by maximizing sales from the assigned territory, with a focus on corporate market products (LM2500 and LM6000).Identify and target new business opportunities through strategic corporate and fleet sales approaches to expand the customer base.Drive business development efforts to win new contracts and retain existing clients.Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored service solutions.Ensure high customer satisfaction by embracing pre- and post-sale processes that lead to customer delight.Collaborate closely with the Commercial Team to effectively close identified business opportunities.Take primary responsibility for the success or loss of business opportunities, ensuring all processes are aligned and customer expectations are met.Work with Customer Account Managers (CAMs) to ensure won accounts are successfully transitioned and effectively managed.Maintain regular communication with CAMs to provide market feedback and understand the facility's continuous improvement efforts, leveraging improvements to enhance customer satisfaction.Participate in the creation of annual sales plans for the assigned territory.Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies specific to the Repair & Overhaul (R&O) business, ensuring their successful execution.Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and pricing strategies to stay ahead and adapt as necessary.Review and adjust pricing policies with input from CAMs to remain competitive while maximizing profitability.Work with various departments to address and resolve customer issues, providing excellent customer service and support when needed.Requirements: You must have the right to work in Australia.5-10 years of sales experience, preferably in a managerial role.Strong knowledge of the industry and the Australian market, specifically with experience in Industrial Gas Turbines, such as the LM2500 and LM6000.Excellent leadership and team management skills.Strategic thinker with the ability to develop sales strategies and drive growth in the IGT sector.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Willingness to travel.Confidence, competence and credibility in dealing with customers.Responsible, structured and focused approach to work.Strong relationship-building and networking skills, particularly with clients in the IGT industry. #J-18808-Ljbffr
