You will be managing a sales team who are based in geographies throughout the region.
What you will enjoy doing You will be managing a large and diverse sales team spread across QLD comprised of direct reports and dotted line reports.Setting a sales strategy for the Elgas QLD business that delivers on our business objective of customer growth, volume growth, and margin growth.In addition, growing our customer base by implementing a variety of strategies to improve net customer growth across all segments and sizes.You will be managing the performance of the sales team to ensure they achieve their targets and KPIs.Recruiting, training, developing, motivating, and organizing your team to create a culture of growth, positivity, safety, and high performance.Furthermore, championing exceptional service delivery for our customer base by interfacing with the customer service, transport, and operational teams to address issues and improve service delivery.You will ensure the safety and compliance of our customers by working with your sales team and technical departments on all new and existing installations.Working with the Elgas QLD leadership team to ensure that Elgas strengthens our position as a market-leading supplier.What makes you great You have more than three (3+) years' experience in sales management.You must have an exceptional sales pedigree with a proven track record as a salesperson.Have a passion for growth and demonstrated track record to hit targets.Proven experience as a strong leader that can develop and drive a large sales team.In addition, you have strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office programs that aid you in this role.Exceptional oral and written communication skills.Tertiary or Business qualifications are desirable.Have experience in the gas industry (desirable but not essential).Why you will love working with us Thinking outside of the box, working on new topics and concepts, and delivering great solutions to our internal customers is essential to bring success to our business.
