An exciting pre-opening opportunity exists for a Sales Manager to join our team at Hyatt House South Melbourne. This role offers the unique chance to be part of launching the Hyatt House brand in Australia, with the hotel scheduled to open at the beginning of 2025. Based on site in South Melbourne, the Sales Manager is a key and critical role within the Sales & Marketing team, responsible for proactive sales, maximizing total revenue potential for the hotel across MICE market segments and groups with a business focus on both retention and acquisition as well as:
Assist with setting up the Sales & Marketing department during pre-openingPrepare personalised submissions for all leadsActively cross-sell Hyatt House's facilities and other Hyatt propertiesAttend major travel and trade shows and corporate functions to promote the hotelDevelop networks with relevant industry sources for site inspections and group leadsThis is a great opportunity in a pre-opening team for someone who is willing to contribute in successfully setting up finance department and enthusiastic about learning/acquiring new skills.
