About the role We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Manager to join our team here at our Maryborough Head Office located in the beautiful Fraser Coast.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Leading and managing the Remote Sales Team across Victoria, Queensland, and New South Wales.Liaising with key stakeholders and customers.Proactively developing relationships with new customers.Projecting sales budgets.Working towards meeting and exceeding agreed targets on a monthly and annual basis.Marketing.Coaching & mentoring.Monitoring and optimizing sales teams' efforts.Assisting with new product research and development.Identifying and being aware of market changes and competitor activity.Developing new customer groups & opportunities to facilitate growth.Forecasting.Maintaining price lists to ensure all opportunities for profit maximization are recognized while growing market share.About you To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills:
A motivated and 'hands-on' individual with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position, preferably within the timber industry.Ability to adapt to change and respond to challenges in a positive, professional, and productive manner.Ability to build rapport and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.High level of written and oral communication skills with the ability to deal effectively with internal and external stakeholders.Your application will include the following questions:
