This position is responsible for leading and developing the Conveyor and Drive Product Group and its strategies, targets and projects nationwide. You will coach, develop and mentor a small team.
Duties:
Identify and coordinate new market and sales opportunities to support sales growth and new markets Evaluate new market propositions from market feedbackDeliver presentations to internal and external users Maintain and develop relationships with new and existing clients and customers Attend field days and trade exhibitions Undertake 30%-50% travel related to BD, project and negotiations as per agreed timetableClient meetings face to face and over video Deliver sales budgets for clients Participate in weekly, monthly and quarterly sales meetings Prepare and deliver quotes/ proposals/ tenders with support of the internal sales team Report products issues and improvements to National Sales Manager Reconcile credit cards on a monthly basis Lead HSE culture by enforcing safety conduct and behaviour on site Assist HSE team with inspections, risk assessments and incidents Update live documents and reports as required Oversee hiring, onboarding and training of the C&D team members Undertake performance appraisal reviews and continuous professional development Develop and manage department budgets About You: 5+ years sales experience, ideally in mining, material handling or cement industry Formal sales and marketing related qualifications Experience leading a technical sales team Engineering or mechanical background (desirable) Previously worked on sales projects with long sales cyclesExperience working towards targets and KPIs How to Apply:
