This is a brilliant opportunity to join the Flooring team at Booval Harvey Norman! About the role: As part of the small team at Harvey Norman Flooring Booval, we are looking for a highly motivated and professional Sales Manager who is able to learn quickly, develop and upskill in a full-time role whilst contributing to the sales of the store.
You will:
Independently manage day-to-day customer service and sales by assisting people in their purchases whilst following clear processes and procedures to ensure the administration of the shop runs seamlessly.Create and follow up on sales leads with a drive and determination to succeed in getting the sale.Have the confidence to seek out interior designers, builders, real estate agencies, and referral customers to sell from the showroom floor or a potential customer's living room.Build strong working relationships with layers, warehouse staff and the franchisee to ensure the best service and communication is provided.Enthusiastically develop a thorough understanding of the flooring products, services, and solutions for our customers.Develop an understanding and maintain current and future industry insights and market trends, as well as competitors' activities.Thrive in an uncapped earnings environment, with capacity to build your own network of clients as you will with the competitive advantages and resources from a major trusted brand to capitalise on.To be successful you will have: Attention to detail with a willingness to learn quickly and apply that learning with a 'can do', professional attitude.The confidence and ability to develop relationships at all levels and from all walks of life.Practical knowledge of computer systems accompanied with proven understanding across Microsoft Office apps is essential.Strong verbal and written communication skills, with passion and drive to find solutions for our customers (coaching and support will be provided).Ability to plan, manage your time and be organised with a can-do attitude to multitask whilst learning to handle a unique industry such as flooring (products, customers, layers, shop floor sales).Enjoy helping people improve their homes through selling them quality products.About Harvey Norman Booval: A huge focus on autonomy and contributing to a team of successful people helping people improve their homes and making the experience a good one.

From product selection instore, to standing in their homes measuring the space and recommending colours, to organising the installation (including top notch communication throughout the process) and following up after installation to really cement the great customer experience.We pride ourselves on being a nimble and flexible problem solver for our customers, and we offer this same approach to our team members.You will be offered a salary to commensurate with experience, plus generous commission structure.
