Sales & Inventory Manager

If you are a skilled Inventory Manager with experience leading high-performing teams, this is an opportunity to play a crucial role driving the success of the Stan Cash & BillyGuyatts business.
In this role you will be responsible for purchasing and overseeing sales across the business.
The position requires a true leader, with excellent negotiating skills, strong people management skills, exceptional communication abilities, a multi-tasker who likes a fast-paced environment and has a keen eye for detail.
You will work closely with suppliers, two store managers and our online team.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage inventory levels and purchase of stock for the Home Electrical Department.Maintain stock levels within an OTB.Identify new opportunities, assess market trends and make recommendations for business development and expansion.Provide general management and support to help with the group's overall strategic direction to maximise profit, sales, and market share objectives.Create high performing teams that are results-driven.Foster a working environment of teamwork, growth and continuous improvement.Ensure correct pricing, relevant deals and sell-throughs for all products.Maintain strong relationships with supplier representatives.Attend trade buying shows and BSR buying meetings where required (local or interstate).Ensure key stakeholders are provided with data-driven reports that identify issues and opportunities.Assist with customer sales and queries, as required.SkillsRetail management & purchasing experience, ideally 5 years.Excellent verbal and written communication.Proven experience in team management, change management and driving employee engagement initiatives.Skilled in identifying opportunities for process and systems improvement.Innate sense of time organisation and urgency.Online experience would be beneficial but not essential.Skilled in inventory management software and proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).#J-18808-Ljbffr
