About Client: Our client is building the "future of sustainable homes" with an online platform for carefully curated pre-loved, vintage, and antique furniture and home decor in Australia They redefine the furniture shopping experience through the elevated platform for buyers to discover and purchase one-of-a-kind pieces, while also offering sellers an attractive proposition to showcase and sell their items They aim to create a space where passionate collectors, designers, and vintage enthusiasts could appreciate, and buy unique pieces for their homes, all while promoting sustainability and reducing waste in the furniture space About the RoleAs a Sales and Interior Design Intern, you'll combine your expertise in interior design with sales skills to bridge the gap between design and business. Your background in design will help you curate and evaluate furniture pieces to ensure they align with the platform's aesthetic and standards. It will also allow you to effectively communicate the unique value of these pieces to sellers and buyers, fostering meaningful partnerships.
Key Responsibilities Partnership Development: Use your design knowledge to identify sellers and industry partners whose offerings complement the platform's curation guidelines. Build strong, mutually beneficial relationships. Curation Expertise: Assess inventory submitted by sellers to ensure it aligns with the platform's high-quality standards and resonates with buyers. Onboarding & Support: Assist sellers in listing their inventory, offering guidance on showcasing pieces in ways that appeal to design-conscious buyers. Process Improvement: Suggest and implement strategies to optimise onboarding and partnership processes, working closely with the tech team. Performance Tracking: Analyse key metrics to provide actionable insights, shaping the strategic direction of partnerships. Sustainability Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to amplify sustainability efforts via social media, email campaigns, and other promotional channels.
