Summary of Overall Role Purpose The main purpose is to foster revenue growth and acquire customers by effectively converting leads into loyal clients. Working from our office in Tamworth, the successful person will engage in proactive outreach efforts, utilising various channels to identify and qualify potential leads. Through personalised communication, the role educates prospects about the value proposition. Additionally, the role provides ongoing support to customers, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience and nurturing long-term relationships. Overall, the role embodies the mission of driving business growth through proactive sales efforts, exceptional customer service, and a dedication to excellence. Main Duties & Responsibilities Proactively initiate outbound phone calls to leads in our enquiry database to create sales opportunities through understanding customer needs.Initiate contact with leads through personalised communication to understand their needs and educate them about the products or services.Follow up with leads consistently to maintain engagement and move them through the sales process.
Meet and exceed sales targets.Keep detailed records of sales activities, including interactions with leads and customers, using CRM software.Coordinate with other members of the sales team and cross-functional departments, such as marketing and operations, to ensure a seamless customer experience.Share best practices and collaborate on strategies to optimise sales performance.Be able to prioritise key tasks such as call backs, estimate generation.Ensure a prompt response to all inbound customer enquiries; from the web, phone, and email, whilst providing excellent customer service and nurturing them through the onboarding process.Timely preparation and sending new estimates where required.Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers through regular follow-up calls.Proactive customer outreach to ensure initial payments on account are in place as soon as possible after instructionSupport a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the organisation's overall business goals and objectives. This includes meeting sales targets, and providing input into plans to penetrate new markets.Continuously improve the sales process, from lead generation to closing deals. Identify bottlenecks, streamline workflows, and implement best practices to increase efficiency.Support marketing campaigns to ensure that the lead to sales conversions metrics are metDevelop relationships with referrers.Work with social media and marketing to ensure a match with company objectives and to clarify how projects and initiatives impact sales performance.Effectively communicating with team members to facilitate excellent client care.Support our IiP accreditation across the organisation and a focus on the mission and values.Participate in training programs and workshops to improve sales skills and techniquesJob Specific Skills and Abilities E = Essential and D = DesirableQualifications A degree in business, marketing, sales, or a related field (D)Relevant Experience A proven track record of success in sales roles, consistently meeting and exceeding targets. Direct experience in B2C sales.
