The Role As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for looking after clients in and around Adelaide CBD. Looking after a range of industrial automation products and associated software (i.e., electrical components, control systems, motion control, sensors, and analytical software).Your portfolio of clients would mainly include industrial manufacturers, pharmaceuticals, oil & gas, food and beverage companies and also to OEMS.You will be liaising with C-level executives, directors, procurement managers and the engineering team.The main objective of this role is to maintain and build strong relationships with the company's key clients and develop new opportunities as they present themselves. You will be reporting and working closely with the Regional Director who will also provide ongoing product/market training.The Candidate The most important thing is Technical sales experience within the industrial automation space (i.e., sensors, motion control, capex, analytical software or other related products).If you have worked for companies such as ABB, Siemens, Schneider Electric, or other companies related to the industrial automation space, we would like to hear from you.We are looking for a solutions-focused person with a structured account management approach.In terms of personality, we are looking for energy, enthusiasm, and drive to succeed. For the right candidate, our client offers between $110k-$125k base + Fully Maintained Vehicle + Commission + Super + Tools of the trade.
